Key Highlights & Activities

1. Riding Opportunities

Vermont offers some of the best riding in New England.

The Green Mountains: Fantastic paved passes like "Smugglers' Notch" and "Appalachian Gap."

Cross-Border Options: Easy access to the Adirondacks (NY) via the Lake Champlain ferry, or rides into Quebec, Canada (bring your passport!).

GS Giants Course: An off-road obstacle course is typically set up on the fairgrounds for adventure riders to test their skills.

2. The Vendor Expo

A massive indoor/outdoor marketplace specifically curated for touring and adventure riders.

Gear: Premium helmets, riding suits (Klim, Aerostich, etc.), and boots.

Tech: GPS units, lighting systems, and communication sets (Cardo/Sena).

Parts: Seats, windshields, and suspension upgrades (often with on-site installation).

3. Seminars & Education

The MOA Rally is famous for its educational focus.

Maintenance: "Tech Days" style classes on maintaining both vintage (Airhead) and modern BMWs.

Riding Skills: Street and off-road safety presentations.

Travelogues: Presentations by world travelers sharing stories from the Pan-American Highway, Africa, and beyond.

4. Entertainment

Beer Garden: Local Vermont craft beers are a staple.

Live Music: Nightly bands on the main stage.

Closing Ceremonies: Saturday night typically features the giving away of the Grand Prize motorcycles.

Accommodations

Camping (On-Site): Included with your ticket. The venue has 130 acres of grassy space.

Sherpa Service: You can often rent a tent/sleeping bag setup that is pitched and waiting for you, so you don't have to pack gear.

RV Camping: There are RV spots with hookups, but these sell out months in advance.

Hotels: Look in Essex Junction or South Burlington. Since the venue is near a major city, there are more hotel options than at many other rallies.
