The FH-DCE Super Rally is the "Eurovision" of Harley-Davidson rallies. It moves to a different country every year, organized by a different member club. It is the only motorcycle event in Europe authorized to use the H-D name but run entirely by independent biker clubs, not the factory.
For 2026, it returns to a legendary location in Scandinavia.
Dates: May 20 – May 24, 2026 (Wednesday to Sunday).
Note: This coincides with the Pentecost (Whitsun) long weekend, which is traditional for the Super Rally.
Location: Fredericia, Denmark.
The Venue: Madsbyparken. This is a massive, green recreational park area in the center of the city.
Host Club: Harley-Davidson Club of Denmark (H-DC DK).
Expected Attendance: 15,000 – 20,000 bikers.
Entry Fee: Approximately €90 (approx. 675 DKK).
Note: The ticket typically covers camping and entry for all days. It is usually "gate price only," but check the website for presale options.
Official Website: www.superrally.dk
The Super Rally has a very different vibe from Daytona or Faaker See. It is an "Old School" biker rally.
Closed to Public: Unlike other festivals, the Super Rally is traditionally exclusive to Harley-Davidson, Buell, and Indian riders (and invited guests). It is not a tourist spectacle; it is a party for bikers by bikers.
The "Hygge" Factor: You are in Denmark. The atmosphere will be well-organized, clean, safe, and friendly ("Hygge" is the Danish concept of cozy conviviality).
The Anniversary Party: Because H-DC Denmark is celebrating their 50th Anniversary alongside the 50th Super Rally, expect the entertainment budget and fireworks to be significantly higher than usual.
Fredericia is located on the eastern coast of the Jutland peninsula. This is a strategic choice for accessibility.
The Park: Madsbyparken is a fantastic venue. It is rolling hills, green grass, and small lakes. It feels like camping in a garden rather than a dusty field.
Facilities: Because it is a public park, the drainage is good (vital if it rains) and the facilities (toilets/showers) are usually top-tier for a rally.
Proximity: The site is walking distance to the historic city center of Fredericia and the beach.
Fredericia is arguably the most accessible location in Scandinavia for riders coming from mainland Europe.
1. From Germany (The South): You do not need a ferry. You can ride straight up the A7 Autobahn from Hamburg, cross the border into Denmark, and ride directly to Fredericia. It is about a 2-hour ride from the German border.
2. From Sweden/Norway (The North):
Bridge: You can take the Øresund Bridge from Malmö to Copenhagen, then cross the massive Great Belt Bridge (Storebælt) to reach Fredericia. Warning: The bridge tolls are expensive.
Ferry: Many riders take ferries from Gothenburg or Larvik to Hirtshals or Frederikshavn in northern Denmark and ride south.
3. From the UK: You will likely ride through France/Belgium/Holland/Germany. It is a long haul, but flat and fast riding.
One unique feature of the Super Rally is the breakfast. Your entry ticket usually includes a voucher for a daily breakfast bag (bread, cheese, juice, coffee). It’s a community ritual to line up in the morning, hungover, to get your bag.
Tent is King: 90% of attendees camp. The ground in Madsbyparken is grass, so it is comfortable.
Motorcycles at Tents: You park your bike right next to your tent.
Caravans/Campervans: There is usually a separate, designated area for support vehicles and campervans. They are often not allowed in the main tent area.
Currency: Denmark uses the Danish Krone (DKK), not the Euro.
Card is King: Denmark is a nearly cashless society. You can pay for beer, food, and gear with a card (Visa/Mastercard) almost everywhere. However, having some physical cash for small club vendors is always smart.
It is late May in Scandinavia.
Day: Can be beautiful and sunny (18-22°C).
Night: It will get cold (down to 5-10°C).
Rain: There is always a chance of Atlantic showers. Waterproof your tent and bring good rain gear.
Book Ferries Now (If needed): If you are coming from Sweden or Norway, ferry slots for motorcycles on Pentecost weekend will sell out months in advance.
Great Belt Bridge Wind: If you ride across the Storebælt bridge (from Copenhagen), be prepared for high crosswinds. It is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world and can be scary on a fully loaded bike if it's windy.
Explore the "Little Belt": The venue is right next to the "Little Belt" (Lillebælt) strait. Take a ride over the Old Little Belt Bridge for incredible views of the water and the rally site from above.
