The Ultimate Guide to Euro Bike Fest 2026

Get your engines ready. Euro Bike Fest (EBF) is not just a motorcycle rally; it is the largest, loudest, and most adrenaline-fueled motorcycle festival in Central Europe.

Held annually under the motto "Bikes, Rock & Fun," EBF transforms a massive lakeside campsite in the Czech Republic into a temporary city dedicated to gasoline culture. It attracts tens of thousands of bikers and fans from across Europe, particularly Czechia, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Poland.

Whether you ride a custom chopper, a superbike, a cafe racer, or just love the lifestyle, this is the must-attend event of the year.

Here is everything you need to know about the 2026 edition.

AT A GLANCE: The Essentials

Dates: May 21 – May 24, 2026 (Thursday to Sunday)

Location: Pasohlávky, Czech Republic. specifically the ATC Merkur campsite located on the banks of the upper Nové Mlýny reservoir (often just called the "Mušov lakes").

GPS Coordinates: 48°53'53.45"N, 16°34'16.97"E

Website: www.eurobikefest.cz/en/ (Keep an eye on this for official ticket launches and lineup announcements).

Expected Attendance: 40,000+ visitors and thousands of motorcycles.

The Vibe: What to Expect

Imagine a massive music festival combined with the world's best custom bike show, dropped into a giant campsite next to a lake.

The atmosphere at EBF is unique. It is incredibly high-energy but generally very friendly and communal. During the day, the air smells of burnt rubber and gasoline as stunt shows take place and thousands of bikes cruise the massive grounds. At night, the main stages light up with hard rock and metal, fire shows begin, and the party continues in the campgrounds until dawn.

Because of its location near the borders of three countries, it has a distinctly international feel.

The Main Pillars of the Festival

Euro Bike Fest rests on four main pillars of entertainment that run concurrently throughout the weekend.

1. The Motorcycles & "Big Lake Custom"

The bikes are the stars. You will see everything from vintage Jawas to brand-new Harleys and high-powered Japanese sportbikes.

The centerpiece is the Big Lake Custom show. This is a prestigious, AMD-affiliated championship of custom bike building.

What it is: Hundreds of the finest custom builds in Europe compete in various categories (Chopper, Bobber, Cafe Racer, Old School, etc.).

Why see it: These aren't just bikes with bolt-on parts; they are rolling works of art, often built entirely from scratch. The creativity and craftsmanship are world-class.

2. The Adrenaline Zones

EBF is loud. Throughout the day, designated "adrenaline zones" feature non-stop action:

Stunt Riding: Professional stunt riders performing gravity-defying wheelies, stoppies, and burnouts.

FMX (Freestyle Motocross): Riders launching over ramps doing backflips and tricks.

The Globe of Death: A steel cage where multiple riders spin motorcycles at high speeds inches from each other.

3. The Music

The soundtrack to EBF is heavy. There are usually multiple stages (a massive main stage and smaller hangar stages).

The Genre: The focus is squarely on Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, and high-quality Revival/Tribute bands (e.g., AC/DC, Rammstein, Metallica tributes often feature).

The 2026 Lineup: As of January 2026, major headliners are usually still being finalized. However, expect top-tier Czech rock legends alongside recognized international touring acts.

4. The "Zombie Zone" / Mad Max Area

This is a unique selling point of EBF. Inspired by post-apocalyptic themes like Mad Max or Fallout, there is a dedicated zone for wasteland culture.

You will see incredible post-apo vehicles (cars and bikes welded together with spikes and armor).

People dressed in elaborate wasteland costumes.

Fire shows and themed performances happen here at night. It’s a festival within a festival.

Other Activities & Attractions

Muay Thai Arena: EBF often features a professional ring hosting genuine Muay Thai and K1 kickboxing matches during the evenings.

Vendor Alley: Hundreds of stalls selling biker gear, leather goods, helmets, parts, t-shirts, and memorabilia.

Food & Drink: A massive selection of food. Expect classic festival fare (sausages, burgers, langos) alongside varied food trucks. Beer flows freely and is generally very affordable by Western European standards.

The Lake: If the late May weather is hot, you can swim in the Nové Mlýny reservoir right next to the festival grounds.

Practical Information & Logistics

Getting There

By Bike/Car: Pasohlávky is located in South Moravia, about 30 minutes south of Brno and very close to the Austrian border (driving north from Vienna takes about an hour). It is easily accessible via major highways.

Police Presence: Be aware. Because thousands of bikers are converging on one spot, there is always a significant police presence on the roads leading to and from the festival, focusing on speed and sobriety checks.

Accommodation (Camping is King)

The vast majority of attendees camp on-site at ATC Merkur.

The Experience: Camping is part of the fun, but it is loud. The party in the tents rarely stops.

Facilities: ATC Merkur is a well-equipped campsite with brick-and-mortar toilets and shower blocks, though queues are inevitable during peak hours.

VIP Camping: There are usually options to buy "VIP" camping tickets which might offer fenced-off areas or slightly better access to facilities, but book these early.

Nearby Hotels: If you need quiet to sleep, you must book a hotel or guesthouse in nearby villages (Pasohlávky, Mikulov) months in advance. They fill up instantly.

Tickets

Buy Online: Tickets are always cheaper if bought in advance through the official website.

Types: You can usually buy a full weekend pass (Thursday-Sunday) or single-day Saturday tickets. The full weekend pass is the best value.

Gate Prices: Tickets are available at the gate, but they will be more expensive.

5 Insider Tips for First-Timers

Earplugs are Mandatory: Not just for the concerts. If you plan to sleep in the campsite, you will need industrial-strength earplugs to block out the 4 AM engine revving and partying.

Cash is Still Useful: While many vendors take cards, signal can be spotty with 40,000 people in one place. Having Czech Crowns (CZK) handy for beer and food is smart.

Prepare for Dust or Mud: The site is largely grass and dirt. If it’s dry, it gets very dusty with all the bikes moving around (bring a bandana/scarf). If it rains, it gets muddy. Practical footwear is essential—leave the white sneakers at home.

Sun Protection: The site is very open with limited shade near the main stages. Late May in Moravia can be scorching hot. Bring sunscreen and a hat.

The Thursday Arrival: The die-hards arrive on Thursday. If you want a prime camping spot near the water or near the action, get there early Thursday afternoon. By Friday evening, the best spots are gone.
